The fish of 10,000 casts. This apex predator is elusive and cunning. Yet if you know how to track their patterns and learn their seasonal habits you'll increase your odds significantly. One tried and true method to get one of these toothy critters to the boat is live lining the large baits they  prey upon. Cisco's, whitefish or big suckers are perfectly presented under our many selections of large release floats. Add a 2 to 4oz weight to keep your baits in the strike zone. Drift your baits just above the weed beds and wait for the float to disappear. Don't set the hook right away...let them work it for a while. Then rear back set the hook and hold on. Use the same method for big Pike as well.
